Mar 21, 2011 by

Veolia Mulwaree Trustee and Goulburn Mulwaree Council Mayor, Geoff Kettle, was made welcome at  the monthly luncheon at St Stephens Uniting Church, Marulan earlier this month. Members of the Church, along with others attending the luncheon, took the opportunity to thank Veolia for a grant of $3,000, which enabled the much-needed upgrade and alterations to the

kitchen area.

The new work-orientated kitchenette will be well used for the Senior Citizens' quarterly luncheons, garden club activities, special services such as harvest festival, emergency service and thanksgiving, as well as other community events.

Alison Sieler, writing for the Marulan News said “It was amazing what a great difference it made to the hall. These grants have made a valuable contribution to not only the upkeep of the hall and church but have given the workers a real boost, as at times projects appear too daunting to attempt.”
