New Library Shelving for Crookwell Public School

Crookwell Public School’s library now has a bright new look and improved resource display thanks to a grant of $13,550 from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust.

New shelving and a new circulation desk have been put in place over recent months for the benefit of students and staff. The aim of the library project was to upgrade the library so that it eventually becomes the ‘hub’ of the school. Assistant Principal, Mr Michael Whittington, said “the library is a more user-friendly space and much more modernised and appealing for staff and students.”

The school’s library project complements its aims to advance literacy and foster the lifelong love of books and reading, while incorporating technology where appropriate.
