New Amenities for Southern Highlands Carriage Club, Bundanoon

New amenities at the sporting grounds at Quarry Road, Bundaoon were influential in the Southern Highlands Carriage Club (SHCC) being named as hosts for the Australian Carriage Driving Society's 40th Anniversary Festival of Driving in April.  SHCC President Yvonne Wood said “the celebration would not have been possible to conduct without the valuable

assistance of Veolia Mulwaree Trust,” which assisted with a grant of $7,717 for the project.

In the past portaloos have been used at the grounds, but the new facilities have added significantly to the site and provided pleasant amenities for over five hundred participants from six states of Australia and New Zealand  throughout the ten day celebration.

The new amenities will also benefit other community groups utilising the grounds including the Bundanoon Pony Club, Moss Vale Stockhorse Club, campers at Brigadoon and the Highland Fling, as well as the Rural Fire Service and SES throughout the year.
