New Grants and Donations

A number of organisations have recently received funding through the Veolia Mulwaree Trust Community Grant and Donation Program. Groups to receive funding include:

The Collector Community Association, auspiced by Upper Lachlan Shire Council, has been granted $40,000 for its Oval Aid Project at Collector Oval. The project will upgrade the old changeroom complex at the Collector Oval in conjunction with a range of improvements to the community facility.

The Milton Ulladulla Pre-School Association are excited to be able to create a sensory garden and play area at their preschool. The Trust will assist the project with a grant of $11,390.

$45,331 has been allocated to the Tarago & District Progress Association for a new kitchen & front façade of the Tarago Hall.

Surf Life Saving NSW’s South Coast Branch will replace four inflatable rescue boats engines for Shoalhaven Surf Life Saving Clubs at Shoalhaven Heads, NowraCulburra, Sussex Inlet and Mollymook SLSC through a Trust grant of $14,942.

Goulburn Golf Club Lady Members Golfing Committee was successful in applying for a grant of $10,040 for a schedule of path improvements at the Goulburn Golf Club which will benefit all users of the recreation facility.

Members of the Berry Men’s Shed will be able to undertake the group’s Occupational Health & Safety Equipment Project thanks to a grant of $6,823 from the Trust.

The Bywong Community Association successfully applied for a grant of $3,370 for its Improving Bywong Community Facilities Project. The Association will purchase of new community signage, chairs and equipment for Bywong Hall with the funds.

Captains Flat Community Association Inc will progress the Captains Flat Community Garden project with new garden fencing and storage, water connection, raised garden beds an

d equipment after successfully applying for a grant of $4,604.

Wingecarribee Shire Council will upgrade the service facilities on behalf of the Mittagong SES & Penrose Rural Fire Service. The Trust will provide a grant of $13,308 for the Council’s Hume Highway Driver Reviver Service Van Project.

Goulburn Venturer Unit will receive a donation of $1000 to help facilitate outdoor youth scouting activities.

A donation of $1000 to the Taylors Creek Landcare Inc will enable the group to establish a propagation igloo.

The Thirlmere Netball Club will receive a donation of $1000 to purchase new equipment including bags, balls and bibs.

Wingecarribee Food Services Co-Operative Limited has received a donation of $1000 to purchase new eskies with wheels to help in transporting meals to clients.

The Tuglow Landcare Inc will use its $500 donation to purchase items to assist its Landcare project including a new urn, whipper snipper and other equipment. 

The Exeter Park Management Committee will erect a new fence at the Park between the Hall and CWA building following a donation of $1,000.

Cambewarra Playgroup will use its $1000 donation to replace shade sail in outdoor area at School of Arts Hall utilised by the playgroup’s members.

The Lake George Men’s Shed intends to purchase hand held power tools for members with its donation of $1,000 from the Trust.

Oberon Show Society will utilise its donation of $1000 to purchase paint to allow volunteers to repaint the four show pavilion buildings.

$1000 was donated to the Exeter Soccer Club to purchase a marquee for use at Exeter Oval.

Milton Ulladulla Model Railway Club Association will put its $1000 donation toward building two model railway layouts for use at community events for children & disabled users.
