The Veolia Mulwaree Trust was proud to support the township of Appin in its recent celebrations to mark the town’s bicentennary. Appin’s celebrations included a street parade, fun activities throughout the town and an address from Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair. The Trust provided a donation of $1000 which was used to provide the display of historical articles compiled by the Appin Historical Society. Society Treasurer Leanne Zautsen said it was wonderful to celebrate Appin’s 200th birthday and was a benefit to the local and surrounding communities to enjoy the history of Appin.
