Budawang Public School upgrades multi purpose space

Jul 12, 2012 by

Budawang Public School has used a donation of $1,000 from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust to improve their  indoor/outdoor space by installing soft-fall tiles over the concrete floor. The space is used  for play, learning and socialising by students aged 4-20 years old who have an intellectual and physical disability.

In expressing the school's thanks to the Trust, School Principal Sheryl Bruffey said the students and their families and carers have found the upgraded space warmer, drier, cleaner and more comfortable.  Students now choose to use this space than they did when it was cement and open to the weather. The improvements have been well received by the whole school community. She said “thank you very much for enabling our school to proceed with our renovations to our under cover multi purpose space.”
