Wingello tree planting ready for Spring display

30 beautiful new liquid amber trees now line the railway line verge from the Wingello Railway Station all the way through to the Wingello entrance sign close of Camden Street. The trees were planted by the Wingello Progress Association's Beautification Committee and purchased through a $1000 donation from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust.

“Although the trees only look like sticks at the moment, they will give a magnificent display from the beginning of spring, through until the end of autumn,” Committee Chairman John Ford said.

“The overwhelming majority of the community are thrilled with the planting and the fact that there are people in the community who are caring for the Village.  We thank the Veolia Mulwaree Trust for its generosity to the community.”
