Goulburn Quota Club recently received a $1000 donation to purchase books for their Quota 'Cops and Kids' Reading Program. Quota Club Secretary, Barbara Creese, said “Goulburn Quota Club  is most appreciative of the support of the Veolia Mulwaree Trust which will enable us to continue with our Quota 'Cops and Kids' Reading Program.”

“With assistance from members and local police we attend school weekly to read with three selected children. Books are purchased by Quota and presented to the school library after children have taken them home to read.”

School Principal, Michael Hooker, from Goulburn North Public School said “The true benefit of this program cannot be measured.”

“One of the most important skills developed in Primary School is that of reading, and one of the most important attitudes developed is that reading is important and enjoyable. Quota 'Cops and Kids' is a program that brings these two elements together in a way that brings so many benefits together.”
