Berry Community Church were successful in their application for a donationof $1000 from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust. They used the donation to purchase equipment including toys and instruments which will enable more children and parents to participate in their program.

Erica Noonan, Pastor for Children and Young Families, said “Thank you very much for your donation.

“We bought some instruments (tambinos), music props (bean bags), safety cups for tea and coffee, baby change table and toys. This is a major boost to our music group. We can now provide better and safer facilities. Thanks once again.”

Mrs Noonan explained that 'Mainly Music' is a program to support young families and build community. “The aim of mainly music is to provide an environment where preschool children develop skills to enhance their early childhood education, through the use of music, rhythm, rhyme and other music related activities with the participation of a parent or primary caregiver. In addition mainly music is an opportunity for adults and children to build memories and spend time together, sharing special time with each other.” Pictured are two of the young Mainly Music participants.
