The Wingello community will benefit from brand new kitchen equipment recently installed at Wingello Mechanics Institute Hall, thanks to a grant from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust. The Trust contributed $2,327 to the hall’s management committee for the installation of a new 90cm oven and stove.

Committee Member, Douglas Roach, said the community was already making good use of the new equipment and have had hire of the hall where catering was required for up to 50 people. The recent launch of the new equipment was attended by two of the Veolia Mulwaree Trustees, pictured right. Veolia Mulwaree Trust Chairman, Paul Stephenson, said the Trust was pleased to support small community halls as they were “the life-blood of the community.”

“Volunteers raise a lot of money on their own and with a kitchen like this they’ll be able to raise a lot more money. We were very happy to help them”.
