Marulan Public School were the recipients of a grant of $10,000 to assist the school to purchase three interactive whiteboards. The school raised the additional $8,317 toward the project from a mini Olympics Day, general fundraising and their own technology budget.

The Principal of Marulan Public School, Ms Debbie Darling, said this was a fantastic opportunity for our school and the grant from Veolia Mulwaree Trust has been greatly appreciated by our school community. All students at our school are now being exposed to interesting and engaging literacy and numeracy programs that are extending the knowledge and skills of our students.

Three interactive whiteboards (IWBs) were purchased and installed in the January school holidays,  Ms Darling said.

“All students and teachers have been very happy and excited by this project. The students have shown increased enthusiasm, engagement and interest in the learning experiences that they have been exposed to using the IWBs,” she said.
