New grants announced by Veolia Mulwaree Trust

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust congratulates the following 14 organisations for their successful grant applications in the latest Trust funding round:

Kioloa Unit Marine Rescue NSW received a grant of $15,000 for its New Tow Vehicle Project.

Bundanoon Lions Club Inc received a grant of $4,800 for its New Catering Canopy for Trailer Project.

Goulburn Tennis Club Inc was successful in applying for a grant of $29,250 for its Upgrade of Goulburn Tennis Club Courts Project to install a new Synpave surface.

The Sussex Inlet Unit Marine Rescue Wharf Extension Project was awarded a grant of $36,420.

A grant of $24,385 was presented to the Braidwood Tennis Club for its Resurfacing of Braidwood Tennis Courts Project.

Thirlmere Public School received a grant of $15,000 toward its Covered Outdoor Learning Area Project.

Moss Vale Country Women’s Association Kitchen Upgrade Program received $4,000.

FROGS Landcare’s Walking pathways, water capture, bird hides & plants for the Goulburn Wetlands Project received $39,224.

The Sanctuary Point Men’s Shed First Aid and Safety Equipment Project will receive a grant of $2,000.

$7,807 was presented to the Middle Arm Wayo Rural Fire Brigade as a contribution to the Middle Arm Station Kitchen Project.

Rotary Club of Goulburn web$20,000 was granted to the Rotary Club of Goulburn’s Goulburn Outdoor Gym Project. Trustee Cr Geoff Kettle is pictured left making the grant presentation.

Binda Public School P&C successfully applied for a grant of $4,952 for the school’s Mobile Hall Stage Project.

The Taralga Playgroup Inc’s Refurbishment of Kitchen & Bathroom Project received $3,600 in funding.

Fisherman’s Paradise Volunteer Fire Brigade Safety and Vision Project was allocated a $1,883 grant.

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust looks forward to working with these community organisations over the coming months toward the successful completion of their projects.

The following 16 organisations have been successful under the Veolia Mulwaree Trust donation program:

Goulburn Teapot Club Inc – $1000 donation towards an autism conference to be held in Goulburn in 2013.

Bay and Basin Community Resources – $1000 donation to purchase equipment and uniforms for The Pirates Men’s Shed Band.

Taralga Rugby Union Club Inc – $1000 donation to support the organisation and facilities.

Oberon Show Society Inc – $1000 donation to support the organisation and it’s infrastructure.

Braidwood and Village Tourism – $1000 donation to install an illuminated information sign.

The Youth Initiative Inc (Wollondilly) – $1000 donation to fund production of short film with local youth.

Bridges for Learning (Wingecarribee) – $1000 donation toward the purchase of therapy resources for children with developmental delays.

Tahmoor Playtime – $1000 donation toward purchase play equipment, soft fall and shade shelter.

Braidwood Junior Soccer Club – $1000 donation to assist in supporting running costs of the club.

Taralga Public School – $1000 donation to purchase freestanding gazebo/shelter.

Picton and District Historical Family History Society Inc – $200 donation to purchase laminator and laminating pouches.

Permaculture Exchange Inc (Braidwood) – $1000 donation to assist with running community courses in permaculture.

Tahmoor District Cricket Club – $1000 donation to purchase equipment for junior cricket teams.

Goulburn Loco Roundhouse Preservation Society – $648 donation to fund training in recording oral history for volunteers.

Goulburn High School – $1000 donation to assist in upgrade of School Hall PA system.

Canyonleigh Rural Bush Fire Brigade – $1000 donation to fit a hot water system and video screen.
