website photo  Ten volunteer members from four organisations under the classification of ‘Museums and Galleries’ met at the Goulburn Mulwaree training room on 20 November 2013 for a ‘Recording  Oral History’ workshop.  The event was funded with the assistance of a $648 donation from Veolia Mulwaree Trust.

The workshop was conducted by Ms Myfanny Thompson from ‘Talk to Me’ and was attended by representatives from Goulburn War Memorial, Goulburn Waterworks, Riversdale National Trust property, Goulburn Regional Gallery and Goulburn Loco Roundhouse Preservation Society.  Also present was Mr Desmond Kennard representing ‘Museums in the Making’.

Mr Terence Carpenter, Secretary of the Goulburn Loco Roundhouse Preservation Society thanked the Veolia Mulwaree Trust for their support.

“Those present at the workshop are now better prepared and equipped to ‘capture’ the vast amount of information in the memories of members and other citizens in the community that would otherwise be lost”. Mr Carpenter said.

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust is pleased to assist the Goulburn Loco Roundhouse Preservation Society with their workshop.
