New Grants and Donations Announced by Veolia Mulwaree Trust

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust congratulates the following 25 organisations for their successful grant and donation applications in the latest round of  Trust funding.


Following the removal of 4 large trees for safety reasons, Gunning Public School is thrilled to be able to utilise a grant from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust to upgrade this quadrangle for students

Gunning Public School received a grant of $36,366 to assist them to transform the above pictured quadrangle into a functional, resourceful space. The area will include a large shade structure for sheltered eating along with an interactive landscaped area filled with native plants and natural elements such as rocks and logs for the children to climb on and explore.

The Legacy Club of Goulburn received a grant for $30,000 to enable them to extend and join two entrance driveways and line the new area with solar lighting for added security and safety for the residents of Legacy Lodge.

St Joseph’s Primary School was successful in receiving a grant for $18,100 to assist with the upgrade of heating in the school hall and the renovation of the girls and boys toilet blocks.

Mittagong Public School will utilise a grant of $2,745 to purchase musical equipment for the students including music stands, a digital keyboard with accessories, an amplifier and a set of classroom drums.

Goulburn Dressage Club received a grant of $11,000 to assist with building a new clubhouse. The Club will remove the existing ‘old’ shed and replace it with a new double garage and carport for added shelter.

Southern Shoalhaven Zone Meals on Wheels were successful in receiving a grant for $3,688 to assist them to purchase a photocopier/fax machine. The multifunction device will be available to members of the community for the photocopying and faxing of personal documents.

Chevalier College received a grant for $30,000 to assist with the fit-out of equipment for the newly built Highlands Trade Skills Centre. The Centre is being constructed as a regional facility for vocational education and training.

St Joseph’s Catholic Church at Tarago received a donation of $1,000 to assist with installing and staining skirting boards around the inside of the church.

Tabourie Lake Ratepayers & Residents Association received a donation of $1,000 to assist in purchasing and installing a netball and basketball ring in the Lake Tabourie village public reserve.

St Vincent de Paul Society of Goulburn received a donation of $1,000 to assist with providing food hampers to needy people and families in the Goulburn Mulwaree area.

Koori Kulcha Aboriginal Corporation received a donation of $1,000 to assist with funding a Wingecarribee Aboriginal Community Services Expo and Family fun day. The expo will be an opportunity for local community members to put a ‘face’ to the name of services and local providers in Wingecarribee.

Warragamba/Silverdale Amateur Swimming Club received a donation of $1,000 to enable them to purchase an electronic timing system to record races more accurately.

Oberon Children’s Centre received a donation of $1,000 to assist with the purchase and installation of storage shelves for books and educational equipment.

Volunteering Wingecarribee was successful in obtaining a donation of $1,000 to assist in the design and production of information booklets aimed at educating and encouraging volunteers.

Bundanoon Cricket Club received a donation of $1,000 to assist the club to purchase barbecues and tarpaulins for use on sports days.

Burraga District Community Association received a donation of $1,000 to assist with improvements to their Community Hall.

Nowra Athletics Club received a donation of $1,000 for the purchase of training equipment to be utilised for coaching purposes.

Southern Highlands Carriage Club were successful in obtaining a donation of $1,000 to put towards the cost of purchasing and installing a fence around their dressage arena.

Crookwell Evening VIEW Club received a donation of $795 to assist them to purchase of a data projector and speaker system for monthly meetings and the use of guest speakers.

Tarago CWA Branch was successful in obtaining a donation of $1,000 to assist the members to upgrade the branch rooms with a new coat of paint.

Kangaroo Valley Preschool received a donation of $1,000 to enable the staff and children to create a beautiful and delicious garden that is both educational and fun.
