KMBT_C654e-20150212122133“Taralga Playgroup is full of happy mums and kids” were the words of playgroup coordinator Elise Croker, following the playgroup’s success in obtaining a Veolia Mulwaree Trust grant of $3,600 to refurbish their kitchen and bathroom areas.

Mrs Croker continued to say, “The playgroup, which is based in the old courthouse building in Taralga, now has a newly tiled bathroom area that is easy to keep clean and the children are no longer scared to use”.

Along with the refurbished bathroom area the grant funds also enabled the playgroup to install new cupboards and an autoboil to the kitchen area which has greatly improved the function of the area for cleaning, storage and craft activities.

The improved facilities can be utilised by other groups within the Taralga community and the refurbishment has already benefitted Taralga Playgroup by attracting new members to the cleaner, more acceptable facilities.

Mrs Croker said, “The Taralga Playgroup and community are immensly grateful to the Veolia Mulwaree Trust as without your help we would not have achieved these goals”.

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust is proud to assist Taralga Playgroup with this valuable project and looks forward to the facilities being of great benefit to the playgroup and general community for many years to come.
