St Georges Basin Public SchoolA Veolia Mulwaree Trust grant of $19467 has enabled St Georges Basin Public School to revitalise their play area with new playground equipment.

“The project was amazing, everything went without a hitch. The equipment was installed in no time and the children were so excited to have new play equipment to use”. President of the P & C Association, Ms Tracy Mandavy said,

The School’s P & C Association raised the remaining funds for the new equipment through a series of events which included a disco, Spring fair and Mother/Father’s Day stalls.

“The new equipment has helped to bring the children together and new friendships have formed with the older children taking care of the younger ones, which is great to see. Ms Mandavy added, we are very grateful to the Veolia Mulwaree Trust for assisting us to make this project a success.”

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust is proud to assist St Georges Basin Public School with this valuable project and looks forward to the children enjoying the new equipment for many years to come.
