working in the gardenA donation of $1,000 from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust has helped Kangaroo Valley Preschool purchase a water tank for their school’s garden.

Jacinta Perry, director/co-ordinator of Kangaroo Valley Preschool, said  “the water tank was installed in our playground which is the centre of our learning about sustainable practices area and since then our gardens have developed beautifully and the children have been very focused in caring for our growing plants. The children really enjoyed adding ‘Scarecrows’ to the garden after we noticed the birds were stealing our peas!”

Veolia Mulwaree Trust is very proud to have assisted Kangaroo Valley Preschool to purchase a water tank which will help to maintain the gardens at the school and to also teach the children all about sustainable gardening.
