Taralga ps websiteTaralga Public School now have a kitchen/creative room thanks to a $34,897 grant from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust. The room, which has been officially named the Bunduluk room, came about following financial contributions from the school’s P & F, the Taralga Lion’s Club and the Taralga Rodeo Committee along with the Veolia Mulwaree Trust grant.

Liza Duncan, principal of Taralga Public School said, “the new area will provide wonderful opportunities for our students and it will be an asset to our school. The room will become an integral part of the weekly learning for all students at the school. There will be cooking, science, art, craft and sewing lessons enjoyed by the students throughout the coming years.

The objective of the project was to create a more conducive learning area for the children and this has definitely been achieved. This project has also enhanced the relationship of community and school and will continue to foster that relationship into the future.”

Veolia Mulwaree Trust is very proud to assist Taralga Public School and the Taralga community with this great project and looks forward to the students enjoyment in the area for many years to come.
