Bowral Junior Rugby League Club Renovates Clubhouse

IMG_1125Bowral Junior Rugby League Club have utilised a Veolia Mulwaree Trust grant of $8,400 to carry out much needed renovations to their clubhouse.

Club members fundraised $1,500 to kick off the much needed improvements after it became apparent that the clubhouse required upgrades to cater to the growing number of teams and members.

The project included installation of a food grade kitchenette area along with additional cupboards for secure storage of club equipment. The old storage area was ad hoc and with a growing number of teams and club members a more secure and practical area needed to be established for playing gear, club and supporters clothing.

Club Treasurer, Ms Fiona Dunn said, “the new storage area provides secure and practical accommodation for club clothing and playing gear. The kitchenette fitout meets current food service standards and provides fresh, secure facilities suitable for use by all members of the Junior and Senior Rugby League Clubs as well as members of the community as required.”

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust is proud to assist Bowral Junior Rugby League Club with upgrading their Clubhouse and is pleased that the renovations will be a benefit to club members and visitors for many years to come.
