The club raised just over $5,000 towards their new mower project and were thrilled when the Veolia Mulwaree Trust agreed to contribute the final amount to ensure the club was able to purchase the much needed new mower.

Ross Stacey, secretary of the Tully Park Early Birds Golf Club said,”maintenance of the golf course is a priority and unfortunately the old grounds mower had reached the end of its useful life. We were able to purchase a new Iseki SZ Series 33HP Zero-turn mower which is great for mowing the fairways and the rough on the golf course. The extra cutting width is a valuable time saving feature for our volunteer workforce. Our wonderful volunteers are now able to spend more time on the course and less time working on our old mower.”

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust is pleased to assist Tully Park Early Birds Golf Club with purchasing the new grounds mower and looks forward to the new mower assisting volunteers in maintaining the golf course for club members and the community for many years to come.
