The chairs and mattresses were identified by Warrigal Care as a need that would greatly add to the comfort and quality of life of their acute care residents.

Mrs Freda Bush, treasurer of the Warrigal Care Goulburn Auxiliary said, “the Princess chairs and the mattresses are a splendid addition to the care of our residents. The much needed equipment will be used for acute care residents in the later stages of their life and will assist staff by reducing discomfort and pressure sores.”

A family member of a resident extended her gratitude to the Trust writing that her mother, who had recently suffered a fall and was required to rest, suffered from Dementia and was prone to wandering, the ‘Princess’ chair was a wonderful way to assist her mother to rest in comfort. ‘The chair allows Mum to be reclined in comfort and wheeled to each activity’, the family member wrote.

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust is pleased to support Warrigal Care Goulburn Auxiliary with the purchase of equipment that will enhance the lifestyles and comforts of residents of Goulburn’s Warrigal Care for many years to come.
