Trust Donation for Penrose Rural Fire Brigade Generator
The new generator replaced the Brigade’s old petrol operated generator which had become unreliable and no longer suited the Brigades needs. It become apparent as the Brigade began borrowing a generator from Wingecarribee Shire Council that a new generator was required.
A working generator is important to the Brigade for many of their activities including a regular ‘Driver Reviver’ station they run during intense holiday periods at the Mackay VC rest area on the Hume Highway.
Captain of the Penrose Rural Fire Brigade, Mr David Frank said “we have purchased a new generator with the Veolia Mulwaree Trust donation which will be used during the Christmas/New Year holiday period and any other event that may arise. The Brigade is very appreciative of the assistance to purchase the generator which has come at a perfect time leading into the busy summer season.”
The Veolia Mulwaree Trust is very proud to support the Penrose Rural Fire Brigade and wishes their members and the wider community many years of use from the new generator.
