2017 Academic Scholarships
The Veolia Mulwaree Trust provides direct financial support for students from throughout the region by funding fifteen tertiary education scholarships valued at up to $3,000 each.
The Trust established scholarship programs in 2011 with the University of Canberra, Charles Sturt University, University of Wollongong and the Illawarra Institute of TAFE.
The 2017 scholarships will be available to students from the any one of the seven Local Government Areas (LGA) serviced by the Veolia Mulwaree Trust, including the Goulburn Mulwaree Council, fprmer Palerang Council, Shoalhaven City Council, Oberon Council, Wingecarribee Shire Council, Upper Lachlan Shire Council, and Wollondilly Shire Council areas.
In 2017, two $3,000 scholarships will be available to students studying at the University of Canberra, University of Wollongong, Australian Catholic University and Charles Sturt University. Four open scholarships valued at $1,500 each will be provided to students studying through TAFE NSW – Illawarra Institute and a further 3 scholarships valued at $2,000 each will be provided to students studying Agriculture through TAFE NSW – Illawarra Institute.
