Frequently Asked Questions
When is the next funding round?
Veolia Mulwaree Trust will hold three funding rounds per year with applications closing approximately March, June and September. Exact dates are advertised on this website, closer to each round.
How will I know if my project is eligible for funding?
You must read the guidelines attached to the application form, specifically the list of eligible and ineligible projects. If you are still unsure please call our office on (02) 48222786.
Where do I go if I have a question about my project?
If you want to ask a question about making an application after you have read the guidelines then you should contact the Veolia Mulwaree Trust office. Details can be found in the contact tab.
If my application is unsuccessful can I reapply in the next round?
Yes. As long as your application has met the eligibility criteria you can reapply, however it is advised that applications should be revised and updated prior to being resubmitted. If your organisation has received grant funding you will not be eligible to apply for a period of 24 months from the date the funding agreement is signed. If your organisation has received donation funding you will not be eligible to apply for a period of 12 months.
Can I apply for funding a project on private property?
No. Projects on private property are ineligible to apply.
Do I have to provide two quotes?
Yes. For grant funding it is an essential requirement that organisations provide two written quotes for each aspect of the project. Failure to do so will result in applications being deemed ineligible for that round.
What if our community group doesn’t have an ABN?
You may still receive funding. You will need to fill out a Statement of Supplier form. To obtain a form, Click here.
What if we have applied for other funding from another source and don’t know if it has been approved yet?
The Trust is unable to assess your application until all funding contributions toward your project have been confirmed in writing. Your organisation must apply in a subsequent round once other funds have been approved in writing.
Do I have to provide extra copies as well as the original?
No, the Veolia Mulwaree Trust no longer requires extra copies. In 2014 applications moved to an electronic system and are now received on-line. If your organisation is having difficulty using the online system we suggest you contact the Trust office or seek the assistance of your Local Government Grants Officer (located at your local council office).
